The Recognition of Occupational Therapists on OTPF medication routines Education

Abstract
Objective : This study is purposed to be used as a basic material of occupational therapists studying meditating-plan, based on the role and necessity of related training which are figured out from medicating-plan recognition survey in OTPF.

Method : A questionnaire survey was conducted on 89 occupational therapists in Seoul and Kyunggi area to evaluate occupational therapists perceptions of OTPF medication routines education.
All items of OTPF medication routines education recognition and the general characteristics of occupational therapists participating in the questionnaire were analyzed.

Result : The rate at which occupational therapists were better aware of the potential side effects of occupational therapy outcomes in their daily lives, but occupational therapists perceptions of drug therapy were limited. 50 people(56.2%) answered very affirmatively to the medicating-plan training for the elderly, and 53 people(58.7%) responded that they would like to participate the medicating-plan training education.

Conclusion : The redults of this study can be presented as a basic data on the interest and role of occupational therapists in OTPF medication routines education. In addition, it will help the occupational therapist to improve education and awareness, which will help provide future occupational therapy services.
